Cosmo Goes Mobile

Heart Corporation, publisher of Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, and CosmoGIRL!, has teamed up with Seattle-based Volantis to launch a new version of those magazines for mobile deviecs. Volantis said that Hearst will use its software to provide the content to Cingular Wireless and Sprint-Nextel networks. The content based on Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, and CosmoGIRL! will include ringtones, wallpapers, and daily horoscopes, along with editorial content. Volantis is backed by Accel Partners, Kennet Venture Partners and Softbank Europe Ventures, and maintains its headquarters in Seattle,
