SourceLabs Debuts Open-Source Software Manager
Open-source management software developer SourceLabs has unveiled a product that will centralize and manage open-source software code, the company reported Wednesday. SourceLabs said the new platform, called the Open Source Management System, will help organizations maximize open-source enterprises by managing hundreds or even thousands of the applications. SourceLabs developed OSMS because it expects some 20 percent of servers sold in the near future will be Linux-based platforms. OSMS is based on the same technology behind SourceLabs’ SwiK.net community, which hosts more than 1.2 million visits each month. SourceLabs is headquartered in Seattle.
