uxComm Acquires Virtugo Software

Beaverton, Oregon-based uXcomm said today that it has acquired the assets of Virtugo Software, a provider of performance and service level management tools for virtualized environments. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. uXcomm is a developer of management used to monitor server environments. uXcomm said it is assuming reponsibility for all sales and support contracts, and has retained several key members of the Virtugo staff. uXcomm is backed by Intel Capital, Foundation Capital, and OVP Venture Partners.
