Vulcan Capital Targets Banking Sector

Seattle-based Vulcan Capital, the investment arm of Paul G. Allen, announced Thursday that it is in an agreement to form a new joint venture to focus on investments in the banking sector. The new joint venture with Bankers' Capital Group LLC, will be called Vulcan Bankers Group. The venture will focus on identifying, acquiring, and managing investments in the banking sector in the southeastern region of the United States. Vulcan Capital makes a wide range of investments, ranging from early stage venture investments to LBOS, acquisitions, and public investments.
