Vulcan Backs Avalanche Technologies For NVRAM
Seattle-based venture investor Vulcan Capital has put its backing behind non-volatile memory maker Avalanche Technology, in a $23M funding round. Avalanche--which is based in Silicon Valley--said that the funds came from Thomvest Ventures, Vulcan Capital, Rogers Venture Partners, and VTB Capital. Vulcan Capital's investment in Avalanche Technology is overseen by Managing Director Steve Hall. Avalanche's technology is being aimed at replacing RAM in certain OEM and embedded applications.
