Isilon Scores Win At NASA

Seattle-based storage clustering software provider Isilon has scored a win with NASA, the company said today. Isilon said today that the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is using Isilon's clustered storage products as part of an open-source 3D imagery service. The storage is behind World Wind, a virtual 3D imagery service for online users, which allows users to explore the Earth and terrain.
