Laplink Releases Vista Migration Tool

Bellevue, Washington-based Laplink has released a version of the firm's migration utilities for Microsoft's new Vista operating system, saying yesterday that it has officially released a Vista-compatible version of its PCmover tool. The software automatically moves installed software programs and data from an old PC to a new PC, avoiding reinstallation issues with software. Vista support is available to current users free of charge.
