Flexcar Expands To Florida
Seattle-based Flexcar, a provider of car sharing services, said this week that it has expanded to the state of Florida as part of a partnership with the University of Florida. Flexcar said that it will provide car-sharing services to more than 60,000 faculty, staff, and students at the University of Florida. The deal calls for eight vehicles to be placed at the campus for hourly or daily use. According to Flexcar, the initiative is part of a sustainability campaign at the university. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
