Itron Gets Win In Texas

Spokane, Washington-based Itron said this morning that it has signed a contract to provide its water management systems to Dallas Water Utilities. The size of the deal was not disclosed. Itron said that the contract cover deployment of 7,000 meters and endpoints, with the possibility of 300,000 meters after initial installation based on performance and cost justification. Itron is a developer of a hardware and software system for providing usage data, customer billing, and managing water usage.
