Isilon Upgrades Clustered Storage Software
Seattle-based Isilon, a provider of software for the storage market, said today it has rolled out its latest version of its clustered storage software. The firm said that its version 4.5 OneFS software can now support up to one Petabyte of a capacity, and 10 Gigabytes per second of performance for a single file system and single volume. The firm announced new snapshot, replication, failover, and load balancing software that operates with its products. Isilon provides clustered storage systems used by companies for storing data.
