XenSource Opens Seattle Office
Palo alto-based XenSource, a firm which is commercializing the Xen open source virtualization project, said today that it has opened a new office in Redmond. XenSource said that the new office will focus on joint technology and market development. The firm also said that it had recently signed a co-development agreement with Microsoft. XenSource said that the new office will support high performance Linux virtual environments on Windows Server, along with non-GPL based products that extend the XenSource virtualization platform. XenSource said that the Seattle was specifically targeted at working with Microsoft, as well as tapping into the talent base in the area.
