Satellite Communications Firm Opens Seattle Office

MTN Satellite Communications, a Florida-based providers of satellite based maritime communications services and products, said yesterday that it has opened up a new "Product Innovation" office in Seattle. The company said the new office will work on developing products, solutions, and providing services for its customers. As part of the new office, the firm said it is hiring software developers and engineers to staff the location. The Seattle office will be led by Bob Wise. The firm did not say how many people it plans to hire or why it selected Seattle for the new office.
