Mixxer Names New CEO

Seattle-based Mixxer said Wednesday that it has appointed a new CEO for the firm. Mixxer has appointed John Dearborn as CEO, and also appointed two new members to its board of directors. Dearborn was most recently general manager and senior vice president of American Greetings Interactive. David Carlick of VantagePoint Venture Partners, and Mark Metcalfe, CEO of Overton's, have also joined the board. According to Mixxer, Current CEO Bill Bryant will remain with the firm as a strategic advisor and member of the board. Mixxer is backed by VantagePoint, which provided $20M of funding to the firm in April. Mixxer was formerly 3GUPLOAD. More information »
