Reports: Google To Buy Valve

Internet publication The Inquirer is reporting today that Google is looking to buy Valve, the Bellevue, Wash.-based maker of the popular Half-Life games. According to the report, the rumor came from a "well placed source" at the Austin Game Developers Conference. Neither Valve nor Google have commented on the rumor. Valve also operates Steam, a set of services for distributing games and other content to gamers.
