Publicis Buys Microsoft's Razorfish For $530M
French firm Publicis Group SA said over the weekend it is acquiring Microsoft's digital advertising firm, Razorfish, in a deal worth $530M. Publicis said that the agreement also includes a strategic alliance between the two parties. The companies said that Razorfish will continue to operate under its brand name, and will become part of VivaKi, the Publicis Groupe organization that also includes Digitas, Starcom MediaVest Group, Denuo, and ZenithOptimedia.
