PHACTS Acquired By CareFusion

Seattle-based PHACTS, a provider of pharmacy automation technology and consulting, has been acquired by pharmacy automation software firm CareFusion. PHACTS provides consulting and software to help pharmacies better manage their inventory and streamline their operations. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. CareFusion, which is based in San Diego, California, said that it will use the buy to provide health systems with better visibility into their drug inventories and to bolster its dispensing technologies portfolio.
