Microsoft Buys Medstory

Microsoft said today it is buying a small provider of web search for the health industry, Medstory. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Medstory provides intelligent web search technology for the health information area. Microsoft said the acquisition was a strategic move for Microsoft in the consumer health search area, and that employees of Medstory will join the firm's new Health Solutions Group.
