Microsoft Buys Flipgrid

Microsoft announced on Monday morning that it has acquired Flipgrid, a software tool which lets students and teachers to create video-based presentations and video responses to lessons. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Flipgrid was founded by Dr. Charlie Miller, Jim Leslie and Phil Soran, and was based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
