Microsoft Buys AltspaceVR

Microsoft said on Tuesday morning that it has acquired AltspaceVR, the troubled virtual reality community. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Microsoft is making AltspaceVR a part of its Windows Mixed Reality unit. Microsoft said it hopes to create the "world's preeminent mixed reality community" as a result of the acquisition of AltspaceVR.
