Madrona Adds Isilon's Richter As Venture Partner

Seattle-based venture capital investor Madrona Venture Group said Friday that it has hired on Bill Richter, the former President of Isilon, as a new Venture Partner at the firm. Madrona said Richter will help the company help identify new investments and provide strategic and operational advice to its portfolio companies. Richter has been serving as an advisor to Madrona for the last year. Richter headed up Isilon through its IPO as its Chief FInancial Officer, all the way through the $2.5 billion acquisition of the storage developer to EMC back in 2010.
