Kavi Acquired By Higher Logic

Portland-based Kavi, a developer of collaboration software aimed at industry groups, was acquired by Washington DC-based Higher Logic, Higher Logic said last week. Kavi develops online community tools for such groups as the WiMAX Forum, SMPTE, DMTF, and many others. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. Kavi had been led by Dave Coryell.
