GreenCupboards Buys Ecomom's Assets, Will Reopen Site
Spokane, Washington-based online retailer GreenCupboards announced this morning that it has acquired the assets of Ecomom, the online eco-friendly retailer which targeted the baby, mom, and kids market. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. GreenCupboards--which started as the result winning a regional university business plan competition by a team of Gonzaga University graduates--said it has changed its corporate name to etailz, Inc., as a result of the buy. GreenCupboards will re-open in early summer of 2013, according to GreenCupboards. Ecomom is the unforunate startup whose founder, Jody Sherman, committed suicide earlier this year.
