FreeRange Acquired By Handmark
Portland, Oregon-based FreeRange Communications, a provider of products for publishing media to mobile phones, has been acquired by Kansas City-based Handmark, the companies said Thursday. The two companies did not disclose financial terms of the buy. FreeRange develops mobile applications which are used by companies such as the Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, CBS, and other to publish content to mobile phones.
