ATE Test Suppliers Complete Merger

Arizona-based Antares conTech has completed its merger with Washington-based UMD Advanced Test Technologies, the company said today. Antares conTech is a supplier of sockets and connectors. UMD Advanced Test Technologies provides back-end IC testing products for the automated test equipment industry. The new firm will be based in Vancouver, Washington, under the names Antares Advanced Test Technologies. The company is majority owned by Investcorp, which purchased UMD in March. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
