ARToolworks Acquired By DAQRI

Seattle-based augmented reality software developer ARToolworks has been acquired by DAQRI, a Los Angeles augmented reality technology company. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. The two said Wednesday that DAQRI would buy ARToolworks and make ARToolworks Pro version of its software development kit available for free under open source. ARToolworks had been founded in 2001.
