Amazon Buys CANVAS Technology For Robotics Tech

Seattle-based Amazon has acquired CANVAS Technology, which develops autonomous navigation and robotics technology for the warehouse robotics market, according to reports today, to help it bolster the robots used in its fulfillment centers. Financial details of the acquisition have not been announced. CANVAS Technology was based in Boulder, Colorado, and was backed by venture investor Playground Global.
