Zettics Hires Trio of VPs For Mobile Analytics Effort

Zettics, a developer of big data-based, mobile analytics software which has offices in Seattle, said today that it has hired a trio of telecom and big data veterans as VPs. The firm said it has named John Gillespie as SVP, Worldwide Sales and Business Development; Mike Crane as VP of Business Development; and John Tremblay as VP of Product Management. lespie was previously at IBM, and also served at Netezza; Crane was previously at Guavus, and also served at Grid Net, Nielsen MObile, Vodafone, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Tremblay was previously at NxStage Medical, and also was at Verizon Wireless and Azuki Systems.

Zettics says it is providing telecom carriers with big data analytics products that help those carrier understand what data activities and services (web, application, audio, video, p2p, VoIP) are being used by their customers.
