Voyager Capital Names New Venture Partner

Seattle-based Voyager Capital said this morning that it has named James Newell as a new Venture Partner at the firm. Newell was most recently at IVP in Silicon Valley, but will relocate back to Seattle as part of the hiring. Newell has been involved with such companies as AlienVault, Carbonite, Casper, Checkr, DoubleVerify, General Assembly, Kayak, LegalZoom, Prosper, Sauce Labs SoFi and Zerto while at IVP, and got his start at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
