Impinj Names New VP Of Engineering

Seattle-based RFID products developer Impinj said on Wednesday that it has named Hussein Mecklai as its new Vice President of Engineering. Mecklai was most recently Vice President and General Manager, Product Architecture Group at Intel. He also has served at Infineon Technologies, LSI Group (formerly Agere Systems), and Lucent Technologies. Impinj said Mecklai will lead the company's entire engineering organization.
