Sarcos Robotics Adds Another Retired General As Advisor
Bellevue, Washington- and Salt Lake City, Utah-based Sarcos Robotics, the startup which is developing real-life "Iron Man" suits for the military, has added another retired General to its advisory board, the company said on Tuesday. Sarcos Robotics said it has added Lieutenant General Stephen Lanza, United States Army (Retired) as an advisor. Lieutenant General Lanza previously was Commanding General of the United States Army's I Corps based out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington. Sarcos is developing robotic exoskeletons, aimed at use in the military and other sectors, and is backed by Caterpillar, GE Ventures, Microsoft, and Schlumberger.
