Amazon Expands Whole Foods, Prime Discount Program To 10 New States
Seattle-based Amazon and its grocery subsidiary, Whole Foods Market are continuing their expansion of the tie-in between Amazon Prime and Whole Foods', saying Prime members will receive an additional 10 percent off sale items at Whole Foods Market stores in 10 additional states. The two said it extended its existing discount program to Whole Foods stores now to a total of 23 states, which Whole Foods says is nearly half of its stores. The new, additional discounts for Amazon Prime members in the new markets will start on Wednesday, June 13th.
