Amazon Ships Five Billion Items Via Prime In 2017

Seattle-based Amazon said today that it shipped more than 5 billion items via Prime in 2017, saying it had more new paid members of the service than any previous year. Amazon did not detail exactly how many new Prime members it added in 2017. Among other year-end highlights of its business which it released on Tuesday, was the "Instant Pot", which Amazon said was the most gifted item on it Wedding Registry, and most "Wish-Listed" item of the year by its members.
