Blue Origin Shows Off Launch, Landing In West Texas
Blue Origin, the commercial rocket developer backed by Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos, showed off the test launch of a crash test dummy into space this week from its West Texas test site. Blue Origin said the crew capsule reached 99.39km (326,075 feet) MSL, which is just below outer space. The company said, in addition to the dummy, the capsule contained 12 commercial, research and education payloads.
