Lighter Capital Targets Intuit Developers With New, $15M Fund

Seattle-based financing provider Lighter Capital has launched a new fund, specifically targeted at third party software developers developing app for Intuit, and its popular QuickBooks platform, the company said on Monday. Lighter Capital said the new Lighter Capital Intuit Developer Fund will go towards developing small business apps on the QuickBooks platform, including apps for QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Payments. Lighter Capital offers up revenue-based, debt capital to companies, as opposed to more traditional equity-based venture capital.
