Zymergen Expands In Seattle

Zymergen, a company which develops molecular technology, said last week that it has opened up a new office in Seattle, to help it expand its hiring in the city. According to Zymergen, it has had a small team in Seattle since late 2015, and now hopes to grow in Seattle. Zymergen cited Seattle's "perfect conditions" including a strong data science community, existing ecosystem of tech companies, and the University of Washington for the expansion plans. Zymergen is based in Silicon Valley.
