Seattle-base coding school operator Coding Dojo is now turning out more graduates than any Computer Science program in the U.S., the company said yesterday, including more graduates out of its Seattle location than the University of Washington. According to Coding Dojo, it had 811 graduates across all of its campuses, and an additional 176 from its online program, for a grand total of 987 graduates in 2016. Coding Dojo said that in Seattle, it had 248 graduates, compared with the University of Washington's mere 178 undergraduate computer science majors for last year.
