Microsoft, Green Pay Packers Team For Accelerator, VC Efforts In Wisconsin

Microsoft and the Green Bay Packers said on Thursday that the two are teaming together to launch a new startup accelerator and venture investment effort in Wisconsin, called TitletownTech. According to the two, Microsoft and the Packers will each invest $5M to fund the creation of TitletownTech, which includes a startup accelerator, a new venture capital fund, the TitletownTech Venture Capital Fund, and the TitletownTech Labs, which will help local firms develop new digital technology products and services. The two said they intend to set up a location in Green Bay's Titletwon District, next to Lambeau Field.
