DocuSign Hit By Major Breach
DocuSign, the elecronic signature and document capture startup which started in Seattle, and still has and office here, has been hit with a major security breach, which has resulted in a major email malware campaign against its users. DocuSign's users have received phishing emails--designed to compromise the systems of its users--which instructs users to download a Microsoft Word document, harboring a virus. DocuSign said that the emails "spoofed" is brand, in an attempt to trick recipients into opening an attached Word document with malicious software attached.
