Avalara Names GM For Communications Segment

Seattle-based cloud-based tax software developer Avalara has named Tony Susak as the company's new General Manager for the Avalara Communications business, the firm said last week. Susak joins from AT&T, where he was Director of Tax, managing the calculation, filing, and remittance of taxes across every jurisdiction in the U.S. and many abroad. Avalara said that Susak also served in similar positions at Cricket Communications, Cingular Wireless, Virgin Mobile, and General Motors' OnStar division. Avalara's software is used by companies to handle those kinds of tax filings and remittance.
