Amazon Sets Launch Date For The Grand Tour

Fans of Top Gear who have been suffering from withdrawal from the antics of former hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May--will be happy to hear that Amazon.com has set a launch date for The Grand Tour, its new original series which features the trio of car enthusiasts. According to Amazon.com, it will release weekly videos on Amazon Prime Video featuring the three, beginning Friday, November 18th. Clarkson, Hammond, and May had an unceremonious exit from BBC after an incident involving Clarkson and a producer; Top Gear also had run into multiple controveries, most notably over a show filmed in Argentina which resulted in the trio being run out of the country. Amazon was very careful to not mention "Top Gear" in the announcement, only referring to the three as the hosts of "one of the world's most popular TV shows".
