Real Estate Game Works Converts Boring Real Estate Classes Into A Game
Are you a real estate agent, needing to renew your real estate license? Seattle-based startup Real Estate Game Works said today that it has taken the concept of "gameification", and turned studying for real estate license renewals from a chore into a videogame. According to the company, it has launched a new, online gaming simulation which provides the 30 hours of continuing education required by Washington State regulators for real estate agents. Real Estate Game Works (REGW), which is led by Jed Etters, said its video game simulation lets users replicate the "day in a life" of a real estate agent, letting players find clients, negotiate prices, buy and sell homes, and engage in marketing, plus going through learning modules which meet all the requirements for Washington's real estate regulations. The company said it will launch its online game on Thursday.
