Shape Technologies Buys Aquarese Industries

Kent, Washington-based Shape Technologies Group, a developer of manufacturing equipment and industrial robotic systems, has acquired French company Aquarese Industries, according to the companies. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. Aquarese was based in Billy-Berclau, France, and devleops robotic waterjet cutting systems which are used in manufacturing aerospace and automotive parts. Shape Technologies owns a number of companies in the sector.
