Ignition Backs Cybersecurity Developer Acalvio Technologies

Seattle-based Ignition Partners has made an investment in another company in the cyber security software space, Acalvio Technologies, as part of a funding round this week. Acalvio--based in Silicon Valley--said it raised $17M from Accel Ventures, Ignition Partners and Eileses Capital. The company said it is developing "deception" software used for threat detection. Ignition's investment was led by Nick Sturiale. Ignition has been a very active investor in the cybersecurity and enterprise software area over the last few years. More information »
