Just Biotherapeutics Raises $14M
Seattle-based Just Biotherapeutics has raised $14M in a Series A2 round, according to the company. The developer of protein therapeutics technology said the funding came from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Merck, Lilly Asia Ventures, and ARCH Venture Partners. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation contributed $8M in the round, with the other investors investing $2M each. Just is led by Jim Thomas. The company says it will use the funding for new lab space, pilot plant and GMP capabilities. More information »
