OutBack Power Debuts New Product

Arlington, Washington-based renewable energy controller provider OutBack Power rolled out a new product on Tuesday, aiming the new device at the European market. The company said its new 230V SkyBox product specifically is aimed at integrating renewable energy generation with energy storage in the European market. The new product supports both grid-connected solar energy--which is typically used by urban and suburban customers--as well as solar charge controllers for battery systems, which are used in off-grid, remote applications as well as for backup power. The company said the new device specifically is compatible with battery systems appearing from Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, Panasonic and others, which provide high voltage energy storage.
