Revenue Management Systems Acquired By Mercator
Seattle-based Revenue Management Systems, a developer of airline revenue management and pricing software and systems, has been acquired by Dubai-based Mercator, the two companies said today. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Mercator is owned by private equity investor Warburg Pincus. Revenue Management Systems provides pricing software used by over 70 airlines, including Tiger Airways, Ryanair, AirAsia, Virgin America, flydubai, and Jetstar. Warburg Pincus is also the owner of Avalara, among many other companies.
