INRIX Acquires ParkMe For Parking Data

Kirkland-based traffic information provider INRIX said this morning that it is acquiring ParkMe, a provider of parking information, reservation, and payment services. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. ParkMe is based in Santa Monica, California, where it will continue to operate. ParkMe was venture backed by Angeleno Group, Fontinalis Partners and IDG Ventures. INRIX said the acquisition will help it more rapidly deliver services to help users with finding, comparin, reserving, and paying from parking from either a smartphone or a vehicle.
