Microsoft Buys VoloMetrix
Microsoft said Thursday that it has acquired VoloMetrix, a developer of software used for analyzing the efficiency of corporations based on their emails, calendar, instant messaging, and other activity. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Seattle-based VoloMetrix was venture backed by Shasta Ventures and Split Rock Partners, and was co-founded by Chris Brahm and Ryan Fuller. VoloMetrix had raised somewhere around $15.3M in funding, last raising a Series B funding last October.
