Redfin: Life In Seattle Wins Over Boston

Online real estate Redfin says that life in Seattle is better than Boston--throwing its own take on the Super Bowl rivalry between the cities. Redfin--which, admittedly, is based in Seattle--said it ranked each city in terms of income, housing, education, and transportation, and found that Seattle comes out on top. Redfin said Seattle won, 6 to 3, on a list of categories ranking the two cities, with Seattle winning in terms of getting more home for your money; ability to afford a home in the first place; enjoying the weather; and boating, cooking, and drinking coffee, with ties in getting an education and dating and marriage. Redfin only handed Boston a in one place: getting around, due to slightly better public transit scores. Redfin's blog post on the topic was titled "Go Seahawks", although the company--unlike Amazon.com--did not chime in on the quality of each city's football inflation amenities.
