Blue Box Brings Funding Round To $14M

Seattle-based Blue Box, the OpenStack-based cloud hosting provider led by Matthew Schiltz, said this morning that it has raised $14M in its Series B financing round. The company said additional investors in the round include Voyager Capital and Founders Collective, in addition to a number of un-named strategic investors. Blue Box had announced an initial close on the Series B worth $10M in October. The company said the additional funding in the round came from a "premier integrated telecommunications provider". Blue Box says it intends to use the funding to add talent in the engineering, sales and marketing, and business development teams. More information »
